Cost of Living in Abu Dhabi?

Question by Moody: Cost of Living in Abu Dhabi?
Hi All,

I’m at IT/Telecom senior management position with an option to relocate to UAE or Qatar. (I’m currently in KSA – the saving heaven)

just wondering how much could I spend and save with a package of 40K AED plus 100,000/- AED for housing allowance. Appreciate any support in this regard.

Secondly and more importantly, can someone compare this AbuDhabi Offer with a 38K QAR package all inclusive offered in Doha Qatar.

I am split, need to decide this week. Please any support, guidance, peace of advise would be much appreciated

AED 40K + AED 100K .ousing alloance sounds muc. better t.an OMR 38K all inclusive.

I don’t know .ow muc. you will save because I don’t know if you .ave family/kids (sc.ooling costs) and I also don’t know anyt.ing about your lifestyle. But getting paid AED 40 mont.ly, you for sure will be able to save.

Putting myself in your s.oes, I would opt Abu D.abi. In case you .ave any more questions regarding Abu D.abi, please do not .esitate to email me.

Sorry, my “.” doesn’t work:))

With this salary you can confidently march towards Abudhabi. I learnt that the cost of living in abudhabi has increased now adays even more than Dubai. But still i think your salary now will comfortably cover the cost of living. See if you can get some education allowance for your kids. That will settle the matter.
Doha is a very shabby city with poor infrastructure. Dont go for it. It is also very costly though it doesnt offer the benefits of dubai, abudhabi or even riyadh.
