And Miss Reardon Drinks a Little
Written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwrights Paul Zindel in the late 1960s. And Miss Reardon Drinks A Little was first produced in 1967 in Los Angeles, but it was not published until 1971 when the Dramatists Play Service in New York picked it up. On February 2nd, 1971, the play made its Broadway debut. It ran for a total of 108 performances and was directed by Melvin Bernhardt. While not widely known outside of theater aficionados, it has been produced across the country at least once a year since its Broadway debut. It is a dark comedy which explores the relationship between three very different sisters after the death of their mother in the early 1960s.

Its a sure fire way for Democrats to lose seats in 2010 and Obama in 2012. Maybe that’s the big mystery of the Mayan calendar. The world being turned upside down because Obama loses reelection. LOL

This play is in three acts. It’s about three woman who are basically crazy and why they are crazy unravels as you go further into the reading. Definetly read this play. It’s very very funny and cleverly written. The characters are interesting and the story is too. Another highlight is how the book gets to the point. It won’t take you long to read because of how short it is but it’s definetly worth your time.
